A Look into the Past...

I relieved myself from Spiritual Formation about half an hour ago. I finished my final, turned in the class evaluation, and headed up to the HMC Wing. The feeling of finishing a class for the semester is a very gratifying sensation.
It is amazing to think about were I am. This is a season of my life that I hadn't expected in anyway a few years past. But, here I am at Master's Commission pursuing the heart of God. I know how it happened for the most part, yet much of it God hasn't let me in on. His hand was on it all, this I know for sure. To quote Delirious: "Jesus blood never failed me.."!
Life used to not be this hard though. Well, it had a lot more pain, an emptiness, yet now I am fighting not dying.
But, as I was relaxing, wondering what to do, I remembered my cousin, Foxxz's website had a gallery on it. I have a small section on the server from years back. It is amusing looking at the six old photos. I don't miss those days though in anyway, except for Rein, the rat I had. She was an awesome pet! I didn't smile too much around the time these photo's were taken which was about 4 years ago. At least, it says it is from 2003. Fun with Photoshop

Lately I have been messing around with Photoshop. When i say lately i really mean just a few times in the past three or so days. But it has been a lot of fun discovering some different things about layer and about gradients. I wonder what else i can find, until then enjoy this variation of a familiar photo...

Still waiting?

I am fairly sorry if you are still waiting to see the second part of the '2 little girls' post, I haven't been doing so well with keeping up on work, so I won't do that post until after exams probably. Anyway, i'm feeling sour, but really its a temporary thing. It takes me 2 days to figure things out. Hah. Wow, I will say this, that being sick and disgruntled combined is really crummy. I will say no to the voice that is trying to crap things up. So enjoy these pictures!

Its been a while, and may be a little more. I have been under the weather all this week. But here is a informative blog to hold you over. Make sure you click "here" ;). It is an exclusive interview between Peter Chattaway an Philip Pullman, author of the His Dark Materials trilogy. The Golden Compass is soon to come and i would rather you all read this before you decide that boycotting is the best way. yes i say this with sarcasm. Sorry, but it didn't help when we Christians tried to boycott the Di'Vinci Code; it helped, just not us. I am a huge supporter of knowledge, because i fool is deadly. I have even bought a copy of the trilogy to read for myself and the decide rather than going on the hear say of others. But read the interview, it will help you in deciding when you read Philip Pullman's words. Oh, and parents, read the book before letting your kids, because my conservative side tells me its not to juvenile. Anyway, i am also hear-say, so read this: LINK!
