Is Our World Upside Down, or am I Standing on my Head?

I wonder sometimes who is more backward in its ways, myself or the world. For I, small in honor and deed, delve in things too high for me, yet the world, great and mighty, sits lower than the deepest sea. I see, through wiped iniquity, a cloak of glory. The world sees, through deathly fantasy, a guise of prosperity. I suffer not from my sin, while the earth suffers for a sin it did not. Kingdom in Reverse, through God I am free from a curse.

Has anyone noticed how illogical God's love is? Mercy on His murderers. Grace for the guilty. Love for the loveless. The true definition of love is not in the hearts of men, but in the being that is God. I sometimes forget that I am not worthy of salvation by my own works. Epitome of selfless love found in the hanging of a spotless, innocent lamb. Death is not a moment of mourning for the follower of Christ, yet, a sung as poetry. No dirge for me. Life is found in death. Where I once sought out Death, Death now seeks me, but shall not find me. A stranger in his own home. Reflecting the life of the one who was a stranger among His own people, Jesus. The poor are more wealthy than the rich. My weakness; His strength. Who owns the world; is it the one who holds the greatest military? Or is it? Created Perfect looks ugly. The Humble Ugly are beautiful. Forsake the world for His life.

Please don't take what I have written as an agreement with death, because I disagree with death. Rather, I post a message of Hope. Life were you may not see it. Jesus Christ came for the sick and poor; the spiritual Dead. Don't mourn His death either. He doesn't sleep like the men of old do. He was cursed by man and exalted by God, His Father. His kingdom is incomprehensible to the blind in spirit, but that is fine. He is a guide and has sent a Guide. I trust in what I can't see, forsaking the flesh, to follow what I know is true.

Know this: that Christ died almost two centuries ago, but He rose and reigns as King of kings. He willingly went to a cruel death with the intention to bring restoration to the world. If salvation were a one time thing, where you must straighten up immediately, who would still go to Life with their death? Salvation is a process, which is not popular among men. You won't change in a night, but you can make a decision tonight.

So i am a little slow at finding things out, but i just realized that there is a gallery tool that google accounts have. So, i am going to start using it to store photos and so here is the link, which has some new pictures on there. http://picasaweb.google.com/Adam.Skidmore . The only album on there is Lion's Bridge (i want to say Lion's Gate for some reason). They are from today. It is a pretty awesome place. It isnt all of the pictures i took, but because i am uploading about 50 some pictures to Facebook right now, things are a little slow. It would probally be easier if you used facebook to look at them but i will try to put more on there for those who dont have an account with FB (i recommend Facebook over Myspace, So if you dislike myspace try facebook. Yes im advertising). i will be adding more pictures later. L8r. Oh and Christ Rocks!
