Fire

Yesterday, as i believe the previous blog had shown was a wonderful day in Jesus. During yesterday, during a meeting that had been called, most of us were together in a circle just talking about God and Jesus and Holy Ghost. We all had testimonies (for the most part) of something that had been revealed or a vision during prayer or something God made. For me it was haveing the feeling on the inner self that the room was up in flames with everyone caught in the center or inside the flames. God was in those flames and those flames were from the battle we were in and still are in. Prayer started out with a wall, a force keeping us from being fully in the presence of God. But we perceveried and something happen and battle broke out. The devil was furious and we were on fire in a breakthrough to the throne room. The presence we felt while we talked about a swell that is comeing and our testimonies was huge. The ground was holy, and God was manifesting Himself.

Spider

This is a crazy spider Sam found during prayer this morning. Sorry the picture quality is poor because it was taken with my phone.

Testimony Time

That was an incredible session we just had. Listening to everyone's testimonies brought a revelation that when I have cried out to God in despair of being alone, Cries of desperation because no one has been through what I have, He heard me and has brought us together. So many of the other students have been where I have been and done what I have done. God is a unifier not a divider. I wish i would have known this tidbit years ago, so listen up.

So Far

Well, I'm still with Telvin and Becca. So are David and Trampas. Its not so bad though. i am happy to have a roof over my head, a place to sleep, and food to eat. And eating is what I am doing at the moment =]. I have an hour to eat lunch before we start Human Video creativity/practice.

Either all of us [including the third, second, and first years] or just the first years will be giving our testimonies to each other. not that we are really giving them away, but rather just telling them. Testimonies is before HV practice, I think. HV stuff will be around four and a half hours long. No, not the Human Video but the practice and creativity parts!

Anyway, Monday was the first day of college. I registered along with the others for classes which wasn't difficult, and received the books for [most of] the classes. Six classes for a total of 15 credit hours is not bad at all, and I only have classes three days a week. I am taking Freshmen Seminar, Heart of the Worshiper, Leader's Foundation, Grammar and Composition, Spiritual Formation, and Old Testament Survey.

Although Monday is designated the free day for Master's students, it isn't the free day for all college students or classes. Luckily, the classes are on Monday evenings; Freshmen Seminar and Heart of the Worshiper. Heart of the Worshiper wasn't a required class for this semester but i wanted to take it nonetheless. the class title is self explanatory. A course on the heart, the ways of how we worship God. The first class was great! In fact, all my classes from Monday and Tuesday have been great! One of the greatest advantages that going to a bible teaching school is that we open each session with prayer, inviting God to be with us during our class. The sessions so far have involved some deep discussion and that has been incredible experiencing that! And I understand now that I can worship God in my studies.

Prayer on Monday was incredible. We went over the allotted amount of time that the ones who made the schedule had wanted, but because the Spirit of God was so heavy not one person was upset. And worship after staff Chapel yesterday was intense stuff. Worshiping God is something i wish i could do all the time, but as the good book says there is a time for everything under the sun =].

Prayer was on a part of the James river today. Holy Spirit closed our mouths today so that we could listen to what God had to say. I watched as some small waves crashed against a section of the shore and thought of how the ground was being slowly eroded away. That was God talking. He was telling me how he is going to tear me apart, just not at once and once I felt that the ground was soft i knew that He would be reforming me just as those waves reformed the earth they hit. Heh, and now that I remember that spot I watched this morning, it looked like a footprint. God will leave his mark in my life and people will see it and find were he is by following its direction! Sweet! God is freaking awesome!

Oh, and there was this little guy we met yesterday who Telvin claims as the person who most resembles the Apostle Paul. His name was Paul I[ I'm not sure how its spelled but it is pronounced 'eye']. He was once Buddhist and then a magician, not an illusionist, but a real magician. I hear he is covered from head to toe with tattoos from his former life. He is going to speak for ministry pragmatics sometime soon. I want to record what he says because i have a feeling he has a lot to offer us in wisdom.

Well, i am going to go pray about HV practice and about what God wants me to say in the two minutes i will get for telling my testimony. Peace out.

Saturday

[Written 12:05 am Sunday, 26]

Registered and settling in for the night. The Invasion from the prior evening [Trampas, Sam, Erin, and Sparks +Friends] involved heading over to LaQuinta’s pool, were Chris [Miller], Sparks, and Trampas dove in with belly smackers. Then, after awhile of waiting for something to be decided we took off to Park-Something-or-Other were there is this awesome pond with a fountain in the center illuminated by underwater lights.

I learned the Dart Game, which is pretty sweet. But I don’t want to explain it at the moment, so let’s just say it involves dieing and revival.

It is safe to assume that the night was late, but not wasted. I was excited about registering, but having all those people around helped to use some of it up. [Though, that isn’t to say that I was any less excited in the morning, just able to go to sleep Friday night.] When we were traveling around I came to the realization that traffic in Hampton is a little rougher than traffic in Frostburg, and when mixed with an excited driver things can become dangerous. I was a little sketchy, enough to have Chris worked up and Sam saying, “I would ride with Adam but I like my life”. Yeah, it was that bad. Comments were made several times today about it. There was almost an accident within 20 feet from the hotel. But that was last night not today. I did tremendously better today. Chris was comfortable with leaving me to drive around again. Being in the daylight helped out quite a bit, but I am settling down. Like I said, it isn’t Frostburg.

Things are complicated as far as housing goes right now. David and I have to stay with Telvin tonight and possibly longer until we find a home opener. Sam doesn’t have one either but he is staying with John and Trampas is staying with Telvin also. I am having a lot of fun and would put more, but I am tired and have church tomorrow.

Good night or Good morning or Good day, whenever you read this.

HMC Advent

Tis the Eve of Death. Tis the Advent of a New Beginning. Tomorrow is the funeral. And I rejoice in Tomorrow's Birth.
I am registering for HMC Tomorrow at noon. I just received a call from Sam, and with a "We'll see you soon" Invasion of the LaQuinta Hotel room I am staying in is imminent. Excitement is an understatement. I feel distorted. Reality is hazy for the moment as I slip away, slipping into another Chapter of My Story. Write away Father!
